under the theme of Intellectual Property Rights in the era of Generative AI.
His work was recognised for its strong doctrinal analysis and engagement with emerging technological issues.
He was awarded a cash prize of ₹16,000 along with an
internship opportunity.

judgment in M/s Poly Medicure Ltd. v. M/s Brillio Technologies Pvt. Ltd.
(2025 INSC 1314). Their presentation demonstrated strong legal reasoning,
clarity of expression, and a nuanced understanding of contractual and
commercial law principles. The judges commended their structured
approach, depth of research, and confident advocacy in addressing complex
legal issues.
This achievement reflects PGCL’s commitment to fostering analytical
thinking, courtroom-oriented skills, and experiential legal learning
among its students. Kashyap and Rutvi’s success is a matter of pride for

The event was organised by Jyot Foundation, Mumbai, in collaboration with Nalanda University, Bihar, under the initiative Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam Ki Oar 4.0.
Participating in a unique forum reviving India’s ancient Vāda tradition, the students debated freedom of speech, engaging with questions of liberty, limitation, and reasonableness through evidence-based and ethical reasoning. The team also visited an exhibition on Geopolitics and Legal Frameworks, gaining valuable interdisciplinary perspectives.

We are proud to share that our student, Nayesa Barot, Second Year, B.A.LL.B, won the 2nd Prize (Consolation) at Shri Hasuji Advani Memorial Elocution Trophy 2025-26 (State Level Elocution Competition), held on 16th January 2026.
Ms. Sakshi Iyer, PGCL (Batch of 2025), has been awarded the Gold Medal by the
University of Mumbai for securing the highest aggregate marks in the
Five-Year LL.B. examinations.

Representing the Bombay Advocates Cricket Association (Bombay High Court), Umang made his debut at this prestigious national tournament, which featured teams from 15 High Courts and the Supreme Court of India.
The Bombay Advocates Cricket Association emerged as Champions, with Umang delivering an exceptional all-round performance throughout the tournament. His consistency and composure under pressure earned him the Man of the Series award. Across six matches, Umang scored 324 runs, took 12 wickets, and made significant contributions in the field. Notably, he was awarded Man of the Match in four games, including the Quarter Final, Semi Final, and Final.
Umang’s achievement reflects the spirit of excellence fostered at PGCL, and serves as an inspiration to students balancing professional commitment with sporting passion.

SVKM’s PGCL is proud of the outstanding achievements of Garv Jain, one of our most accomplished student-athletes. Garv represented India at the 2025 Ironman 70.3 World Championship, becoming the youngest Indian to complete an Ironman 70.3 at just 17 years, 10 months, and 28 days.

His impressive accolades include a 2nd place age-group finish at Ironman 70.3 Goa (2022), 1st place at Bergman 113 Kolhapur (2024), and a 3rd overall finish at the Kolhapur Sports Club Olympic Distance Triathlon (2024).
Garv also secured 1st place overall at the Aamchi Mumbai Half Marathon (2024) and 3rd overall at the Lonavla Varsha Half Marathon (2025).

A proud moment for us at SVKM’s PGCL as Ms. Pari Minani of First Year BA.LL.B won the distinction of being the youngest to be selected as the voice of youth at the Raisina Dialogue, India’s flagship conference on geopolitics and geo-economics, held in New Delhi from 17–19 March, 2025.

We are delighted to share that our students, Aarya Temgire and Devangi Shah (3rd Year), have achieved a remarkable milestone by securing 3rd place at the Jai Jagat Summit 2025, held in Agra from 13th to 16th August 2025 and hosted by Yuvak Biradari (Bharat).
The Jai Jagat Summit is a prestigious pan-India academic conference that brings together students, researchers, and professionals from across the country to engage in meaningful discussions on governance, policies, sustainability, and social development. This year’s summit was supported by distinguished partners, including Maharashtra National Law University Mumbai, Atulyam Institute of Management, BRK Law Offices, Knowledge Steez, Legal Specs, V Kompus Juris Pvt. Ltd., Nidaan Legal Aid Forum, and several reputed law colleges across India.
Aarya and Devangi’s research paper, titled “Ladki Bahin Yojana: A Catalyst for Women’s Empowerment or a Policy Challenge?”, was recognized among 120 research papers presented at the conference. Their achievement was further honored with a cash prize of ₹5,000 and an internship opportunity.
