Capacity Building and Skill Enhancement initiatives

SVKM’s Pravin Gandhi College of Law is committed to deliver quality legal education, aiming at holistic development of the students. The college believes that students must be given an opportunity to maximize their potential. With this vision the college organises on every Friday different capacity building and skill enhancement initiatives like soft skills, language, communication and advocacy skills, life skills and awareness about the use of technology in legal process. The Capacity building and skill enhancement initiatives are conducted year round   for all the students from the first year to the fifth year. . The  session begins for the first year with  communication  language skills . This is followed by a focus on personality development where areas like goal-setting, conflict-management and interpersonal skills are furthered.  The final phase of the curriculum concentrates on assisting the students in making a smooth transition from college to professional life. The Pre-placement module includes Group Discussions, Interview Skills, Life Skills, Advocacy Skills & ICT Skills, Business Etiquette and Work Ethics which are integral and vital to professional success. These sessions  are  compulsory for all the students across the five years.
